Actuarial Intern role in SageSure’s P&C Actuarial team in Cheshire, Connecticut, focused on catastrophe-exposed personal property insurance. You’ll support pricing and product development through modeling, research, analytical assessments, and data-driven recommendations while rotating across actuarial work and collaborating with underwriting, marketing, operations, and software.

Requirements

Must have

  • Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science or STEM-related field
  • Graduation date in 2028
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Strongly preferred

  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical resources
  • Ability to multitask and hungry to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Nice to have

  • Passage of one or more actuarial exams
  • Prior internship experience
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Familiarity with R
  • Knowledge of modeling packages, programming languages, and spreadsheet/database software
