P&C actuarial internship in New York focused on competitor analysis across Commercial GL, Property, and Auto. You’ll research rate filings, maintain SQL data and Tableau dashboards, and produce market competitiveness insights for the Actuarial team.

Requirements

Must have

  • Minimum two years of college in actuarial, statistics, CS, math, engineering or related field
  • Experience building spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel

Strongly preferred

  • Programming experience in SQL, R, VBA, or other languages
  • Working knowledge of Tableau
  • Strong ability to quickly learn new programming languages or software
  • Strong ability to perform work efficiently and accurately
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to read through and analyze policy coverages
