Actuarial retirement internship in Pension Risk Transfer pricing, based onsite in Houston, Texas. You’ll support pricing projects and learn how actuarial, financial, and operational work come together when premiums are submitted. The summer program includes paid full-time work, real project experience, leadership exposure, and business education.
Requirements
Must have
Enrolled in an accredited college or university
Junior standing or higher by start of internship (May 2027 graduates welcome)
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Available to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Able to work onsite at Houston, TX location
Strongly preferred
Actuarial coursework in probability, statistics, life contingencies, financial math
Excel and coding skills (VBA, Python, SQL)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Sound problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
Self-motivated with ability to take initiative and work independently
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, commitment to accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs
