Retirement actuarial internship in Pension Risk Transfer pricing in Houston, Texas. You’ll support pricing projects and learn the actuarial, financial, and operational work behind submitted premiums, using Excel, VBA, Python, SQL, PowerPoint, and AI tools. The paid summer program is onsite, Monday through Friday, and designed for college juniors or higher.

Requirements

Must have

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Junior standing or higher by start of internship
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Available to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Able to work onsite at the posted role location (Houston, TX)

Strongly preferred

  • Actuarial coursework (probability and statistics, life contingencies, financial math)
  • Excel and coding skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Self-motivated with ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs
