Summer 2027 Life actuarial internship in Montpelier, Vermont, at an insurer offering individual life and annuity work. Interns will update product development or valuation models, query and manipulate data, and analyze business trends using SQL, Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau. The 10-week onsite program includes mentors, leadership networking, and a cross-department project.

Requirements

Must have

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Passing score on at least 1 SOA actuarial exam
Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude
Ability to work accurately and in a timely manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
No visa sponsorship available

Strongly preferred

Preferably a Junior in College – Expected Graduation May 2026
Experience with database software (preferably SQL Server and/or Access)
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as a team player
Strong coordination, communication, and influencing skills
