Twelve-week actuarial internship with Cambia Health Solutions’ Actuarial Division, a health-care insurer, beginning in May or June 2027. You’ll provide technical, analytical, and support work related to the company’s financial and risk positions while working with large datasets and statistical tools. The role is hybrid, with opportunities across several offices including Renton, Washington, and requires progress toward at least one actuarial exam.
Requirements
Must have
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program through spring 2027
- Working towards a degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or other similar majors
- Making progress towards passing at least one actuarial exam
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative undergraduate grade point average
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, database creation and management
- Experience working with large datasets
Nice to have
- Experience utilizing generative AI tools and resources in area of expertise
