Health actuarial internship with Cambia Health Solutions, based in Salt Lake City and available across several Western offices. Over 12 weeks, you will support the Actuarial Division with technical, analytical, data, and reporting work while building experience alongside your degree and actuarial exam progress.

Requirements

Must have

  • Working towards a degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or similar major
  • Making progress towards passing at least one actuarial exam
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program through spring 2027
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, database creation and management
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Interest in working at Cambia full-time after graduation

Nice to have

  • Experience utilizing generative AI tools
