Twelve-week Health actuarial internship in Cambia’s Actuarial Division, scheduled for May/June 2027 and listed in Medford, Oregon. You’ll support technical and analytical work, including spreadsheet, statistical-analysis, database, and large-dataset tasks. The preferred arrangement is hybrid, with three office days weekly near a Cambia location.
Requirements
Must have
- Working towards a degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics or similar majors
- Progress towards passing at least one actuarial exam
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative undergraduate grade point average
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program through spring 2027
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and statistical analysis, database creation and management
- Experience working with large datasets
Nice to have
- Experience utilizing generative AI tools and resources in area of expertise
