Entry-level Life actuarial advisory role in KPMG’s Austin, Texas practice. You’ll support audit and advisory engagements for life insurers and reinsurers, covering valuation, financial reporting, capital assessment, modeling, and transformation work. The role suits candidates with at least one year of experience and progress toward ASA preferred.
Requirements
Must have
- Minimum one year of recent actuarial experience in insurance, reinsurance, consulting, auditing, financial reporting, valuation, or modeling
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Strongly preferred
- Progress toward Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
- Working knowledge of Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products
- Exposure to U.S. GAAP, Statutory Accounting, IFRS, RBC, Economic Capital, BSCR
- Experience with actuarial valuation, financial reporting, analytics, or modeling platforms
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
