Closer to client-facing consulting than a reserving cycle role because assignments span multiple organizations and advisory engagements rather than one recurring close process.
Life actuarial advisory associate role in KPMG’s New York Audit & Assurance Practice. You’ll support client engagements for life insurers and reinsurers through valuation, reserving, financial reporting, capital assessment, and actuarial modeling, using platforms such as AXIS and Prophet.
Requirements
Must have
- Minimum one year of recent actuarial experience in insurance, reinsurance, consulting, auditing, financial reporting, valuation, or modeling
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
- Progress toward ASA designation
- Working knowledge of Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products
- Exposure to US GAAP, Statutory Accounting, IFRS, RBC, Economic Capital, and BSCR
- Experience with actuarial valuation, financial reporting, analytics, or modeling platforms
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
