Senior Life actuarial consulting role in KPMG’s Audit & Assurance Practice in Austin, Texas. You’ll support audits for life insurers and reinsurers through reserve and valuation analysis, financial reporting, capital assessment, and actuarial model work. The role suits professionals with at least three years of experience and progress toward ASA preferred.
Requirements
Must have
- Minimum three years of recent actuarial experience in insurance, reinsurance, consulting, auditing, financial reporting, valuation, or modeling
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Strongly preferred
- Progress toward ASA designation
- Strong understanding of Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Statutory Accounting, IFRS, RBC, Economic Capital, and BSCR
- Experience with actuarial valuation, reserve analysis, financial reporting, and modeling platforms
- Strong analytical, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
