Closer to transformation build than a standard modelling role because it improves shared tools and processes while developing models for an emerging program.

Remote US Health actuarial manager role focused on Medicare Advantage and value-based care populations. You will own reserving and forecasting models, improve claims and medical margin methodology, support budgeting, and help build models for the emerging ACO LEAD program. The role reports to the Senior Director of the Central Actuarial team and includes direct management and mentoring.

Requirements

Must have

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
6+ years of actuarial experience

Strongly preferred

8+ years of actuarial experience preferred
ASA or FSA designation
Bachelor's degree
Proficiency with Excel and SQL
Experience with reserving, forecasting, and trend development
Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage
Demonstrated leadership via project ownership, cross-functional initiatives, mentoring analysts, and/or prior people management
Excellent ability to communicate actuarial methodology, both written and verbal
Understanding of MA health plan data (Claims, MMR, MAO-004, etc.)
Experience presenting actuarial/financial concepts to a non-technical audience
Proven problem-solving skills
Proven ability to influence, grow, and motivate others
Entrepreneurial and innovative spirit
