Remote US P&C actuarial manager role focused on personal auto pricing and predictive modelling. You’ll own state rating plans, support new-state expansion, partner across underwriting, claims, compliance and finance, and manage a team; applicants must be US work-authorized and cannot reside in several excluded states.
Requirements
Must have
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Not located in excluded states: Colorado, California, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico, Puerto Rico
Strongly preferred
- 6+ years of P&C actuarial experience
- FCAS designation
- 2+ years leading and managing a team
- B.S. in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficient with predictive modeling concepts (GLMs, decision trees, gradient boosting, random forests, clustering)
- Ability to work and manage in a remote environment
- Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to AI
Nice to have
- Prior personal lines pricing experience
