Manager-level P&C actuarial role in Liberty Mutual’s Personal Lines Auto Analytics team in Boston, supporting pricing, product development, and state rate filings. You’ll lead five actuaries/analysts, prepare actuarial justifications, negotiate with regulators, and provide analytical recommendations to business leaders. The salary range is $137,000-$257,000 per year, with location-dependent in-office requirements.
Requirements
Must have
- 5-10 years progressively responsible experience
- Supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree
Strongly preferred
- FCAS or near-FCAS designation
- Ability to foster teamwork and relationships across organizational lines
- Knowledge of underwriting concepts
- Written and verbal communication skills for technical actuarial concepts to non-technical audiences
- Advanced decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
