Manager-level retirement actuarial role in Clayton, Missouri, supporting liability-driven investment strategies for defined benefit pension plans. You’ll assess liability cash flows and market exposures, lead actuarial and asset-liability projects, and communicate investment analysis to institutional clients and their actuaries. The role combines pension regulation, LDI, programming, and Monte Carlo simulation.
Requirements
Must have
6+ years of actuarial/LDI experience with defined benefit pension plans
Familiarity with PPA, ASC 715, GASB 67/68, and defined benefit plan funding
Strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, or Financial Engineering)
ASA or FSA designation
Experience with defined benefit valuations, LDI asset management, and/or investment consulting
Strong proficiency in Excel and at least one programming language (Python, MATLAB)
Strong interest in financial markets and economics
Nice to have
CFA and/or EA designation
