2026 Summer Actuarial Resources Intern
The Financial Management Group of MetLife has an opening for an intern to work on special projects within the Actuarial Resources division. The intern will collaborate with experienced actuaries on a variety of assignments spanning multiple actuarial disciplines which may include pricing and product development, reserve calculations, actuarial modeling, and financial reporting. The intern will also participate in different networking and educational events throughout the summer.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with an accredited college or university
- Preferred majors include actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, economics, accounting or other analytical/business-related majors
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong computer/technical skills - Knowledge of Excel is required, knowledge of other programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R is preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
