Senior Life actuarial valuation role in Securian Financial’s Bermuda Valuation team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. You’ll lead quarterly affiliated reinsurance reporting for Individual Life and Pension Risk Transfer business, covering US GAAP and Bermuda Stat, reserve movements, profitability, and earnings attribution. The hybrid arrangement generally requires three or more office days weekly for associates within a 90-minute commute.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- FSA designation or near-FSA with significant progress
- 10+ years of actuarial and finance experience with strong focus on affiliated reinsurance
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and Bermuda Stat regulations or economic valuations
- Strong knowledge of Individual Life insurance and Pension Risk Transfer products
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, reserve analysis, and earnings attribution
- Strong communication skills to present complex financial concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence decision-making at senior levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- A mindset that balances strategic thinking with willingness to get into details and solve problems
