Pricing partner to underwriting
Closer to an underwriting-partner role than a pure modelling IC because complex E&S account reviews and underwriter collaboration are explicit.
Senior remote P&C actuarial role in the US, supporting Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Excess & Surplus business. You’ll work across pricing, reserving, predictive modelling, systems integration, and complex account reviews while advising business leaders and E&S underwriters. The role requires at least five years of actuarial experience; ACAS is highly desired.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of related actuarial experience
- No visa sponsorship available; must be authorized to work in the US
Strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Python and SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong technical pricing skills with knowledge of exposure-based pricing, experience modelling, catastrophe modelling and stochastic simulation
- ACAS designation highly desired
- Commercial Lines (GL, Commercial Auto) or E&S market experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and resources
