Closer to client-facing consulting than a reserving cycle role because engagement delivery, relationship management and business development drive the work.

Manager-level P&C actuarial consulting role in EY’s Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services team in New York. You’ll advise insurance clients on reserving, actuarial audit support, financial reporting, risk management, reinsurance, and M&A-related work while managing teams, client relationships, and business development. The role is hybrid with up to 30% domestic travel and requires ACAS.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's in Actuarial Science/Math/Stats + 5 years exp OR Master's + 4 years
  • 4 years combined actuarial role in P&C consulting or insurance company
  • 3 years of Excel, SAS, VBA and/or C++
  • 2 years of project management or people management
  • 2 years with Arius, ICRFS or other actuarial reserving software
  • ACAS designation or foreign equivalent
  • Domestic travel up to 30%
