Senior P&C-focused actuarial pricing role within a Go-to-Market Pricing unit, leading state-level pricing strategy and methodology development. You will build and monitor pricing and catastrophe models, partner with state product leaders, and present analytic solutions to executive leadership. Remote-eligible across the continental U.S., with on-site expectations for candidates near a USAA office.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead state-level pricing strategy and develop pricing methodologies
- Build, run, and interpret catastrophe models to inform pricing
- Partner with state product leaders and present to executive leadership
- Remote-eligible in continental U.S.; local candidates expected on-site 4 days/week
- Requires ACAS and 4+ years actuarial or analytical experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- State-level pricing strategy
- Catastrophe modeling and interpretation
- Actuarial pricing methodologies and models
- Communicating analysis to executive leadership
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ACAS credential required
- 4 years of actuarial or analytical business experience
- Advanced skills with Python, R, SQL, SAS or BI tools
- Ability to lead projects and develop new actuarial methodologies
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
