Associate P&C Actuary role in Glen Allen, Virginia, supporting Commercial Property pricing, reserving, rate monitoring, and forecasting. You will report to the Chief Actuarial Officer, automate actuarial work in Python, and share analysis with executives and underwriters. The role is fully on-site and offers a base salary of $110,000-$150,000 plus bonus eligibility.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, data science, statistics, or related
  • 3+ years of relevant actuarial experience
  • Prior actuarial experience supporting property lines
  • ACAS designation or very close to obtaining ACAS
  • Programming experience with Python, R, Java, or C
  • Property & casualty experience required

Nice to have

  • Excess & surplus lines experience is a plus
