Senior P&C actuarial role in Glen Allen, Virginia, focused on Commercial Property pricing, reserving, and portfolio analysis. You will support business decisions, automate actuarial work in Python, and share findings with executives and underwriters. The role is on-site, requires an FCAS and 7+ years of experience, and offers a $150,000-$170,000 base salary plus bonus eligibility.

Requirements

Must have

  • Prior actuarial experience supporting property lines
  • Property & casualty experience

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, data science, statistics, or related subjects
  • 7+ years of relevant actuarial experience
  • FCAS designation
  • Proven programming experience with Python, R, Java, or C (Python preferred)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
