Role Summary

Senior modeling actuary role at Aspida, a tech-driven annuity and life insurer based in Durham, NC. You'll design, maintain, and enhance AXIS projection models for fixed and indexed annuities, supporting valuation, pricing, and ALM. This hybrid role (3 days/week onsite) reports to the VP, Valuation Actuary.

Key Requirements

  • ASA designation (FSA preferred)
  • 5+ years of actuarial experience
  • Hands-on AXIS modeling software expertise
  • Knowledge of US Statutory, GAAP (LDTI), and ALM frameworks
  • Advanced Excel; SQL, R, Python, or VBA a plus
