Regulatory compliance focus rather than pricing-underwriting partnership—the work reviews filings for legal and consumer-protection decisions, not live carrier business.

Manager-level P&C actuarial role in the Pennsylvania Insurance Department’s Actuarial Review team in Harrisburg, PA. You’ll supervise reviews of property and casualty rate and rule filings, guide actuarial analysis, coordinate stakeholders, and support regulatory communications and hearings.

Requirements

Must have

  • Must meet PA residency requirement
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions

Strongly preferred

  • Six years of property/casualty actuarial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or statistics
  • FCAS designation
  • Two years of P&C actuarial experience (with FCAS)
  • ACAS designation
  • Three years of P&C actuarial experience (with ACAS)
