Pricing partner to commercial business
Closer to a live commercial pricing partner than a pure people-leadership role because client-facing account decisions and pricing recommendations are central to the mandate.
Senior P&C pricing management role for Mobilitas’s commercial auto business, available remotely across the US except Hawaii and Alaska. You’ll lead pricing analysis, manage actuarial staff, support commercial decisions, and present recommendations to internal and external clients. ACAS and commercial insurance experience are required; FCAS and supervisory experience are preferred.
Requirements
Must have
- Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the US without visa sponsorship
- Strong decision-making, leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, evaluate, provide training and constructive feedback
Strongly preferred
- BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related plus 5 years actuarial analysis on commercial insurance OR graduate degree plus 3 years personal lines
- 3+ years of commercial insurance experience
- ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society) designation
- Solid understanding of the market landscape
Nice to have
- 3+ years experience managing teams in a supervisory capacity
- FCAS designation
- Experience performing account-level rating and pricing analyses for complex or high-value commercial insurance opportunities
- Experience serving as a client-facing partner presenting analyses, recommendations, and pricing strategies
- Expert-level problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Proven oral and written communication skills, including formal presentations
- Proven team leadership ability
- In-depth knowledge of Commercial Auto industry and commercial insurance marketplace
