Commercial pricing partner

Closer to a pricing partner than a pure modelling IC because account pricing and cross-functional recommendations connect analysis to live commercial decisions.

Senior P&C commercial pricing actuary role with Mobilitas, a commercial insurance business focused on mobility. You will support commercial auto account pricing, portfolio ratemaking, rating methodology, and cross-functional actuarial analysis from a remote US location.

Requirements

Must have

  • BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area
  • 5+ years of post-bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis
  • Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages: SQL, R, Python, Radar
  • Eligible to work in the US indefinitely without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 3 years experience

Nice to have

  • ACAS designation
  • Actuarial analysis on Commercial Auto lines insurance
  • Experience with MGA/Programs pricing, fronting, large deductibles, assumed reinsurance, or other non-standard risk transfer structures
