JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support pricing, reserving, and predictive modeling for health plan and PBM risks
  • Evaluate risk adjustment, provider networks, exchanges, and PBM financial guarantees
  • Develop predictive models and turn data into actionable insights
  • Hybrid role with preference for Central Iowa and monthly travel to Des Moines HQ
  • ASA required with 4+ years in health insurance actuarial roles

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Health insurance actuarial experience
  • Pricing experience
  • Reserving experience
  • Predictive modeling experience
  • Data analysis with Excel/SAS/SQL

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4 years of actuarial experience in health insurance
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required
  • Expertise in two or more: pricing, reserving, or predictive modeling
  • Proficiency with data analysis using Excel, SAS or SQL
  • Ability to manage projects independently and present to non-technical audiences
