Senior P&C product development actuary for Fetch Pet Insurance (remote, U.S.). You will lead pricing and actuarial support for new pet insurance products, evaluate product proposals, perform advanced SQL-based data analysis, and ensure regulatory compliance. Reports to the Chief Actuary and works cross-functionally with product, underwriting, BI, and marketing.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop pricing and actuarial support for new pet insurance products
- Analyze product proposals, competitive filings, and regulatory impacts
- Write advanced SQL and model in R or Python for pricing analysis
- Remote (U.S.) role reporting to the Chief Actuary
- Requires ACAS/ASA (or equivalent) and 4+ years actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C or Health actuarial experience
- Actuarial pricing or product development
- Competitor filing research in SERFF
- Pricing new coverages with limited direct data
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ACAS or ASA (or equivalent) designation required
- 4+ years in an actuarial role in P&C and/or Health
- 2+ years of actuarial pricing or product development experience
- Intermediate SQL and intermediate R or Python skills
- Experience performing competitor filing research in SERFF
