JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support underwriting analyses for CMS ACO models and Medicare Advantage (MSSP focus)
- Build and own financial modeling and underwriting tools and assumptions
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Growth, Operations, and Clinical teams
- Remote role with preference for Nashville; individual contributor reporting to VP, Actuarial
- Excel required; SQL, Python, or R preferred
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Underwriting analyses for CMS ACO models and Medicare Advantage
- Major focus on the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP)
- Financial modeling and underwriting tool build-out
- Assumption-setting and sensitivity scenario development
- Validation and performance monitoring of modeling tools
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-6 years of actuarial experience
- Proficiency in Excel; ability to work with large datasets and validate data
- Experience building financial models and documenting assumption-setting
- Ability to communicate technical results to executive stakeholders
