JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Hybrid role supporting pricing and financial/statistical projections for regional health plans
- Build and maintain analytic models, data queries, and documentation
- Use SQL, SAS and Alteryx alongside Microsoft Office for analyses
- Pass actuarial exams toward ASA/MAAA while progressing on technical work
- Hiring range spans roughly $72k–$142k with a 10% bonus target
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Experience with health plan data and analytics
- Knowledge of insurance company functions and operations
- Hands-on coding for model development (SQL, SAS, Alteryx)
- Experience preparing analytic models and documentation
- Passed at least one SOA exam
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Passed at least one SOA exam (SOA VEE preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required
- Proficiency with SQL and SAS (Alteryx experience cited)
- Knowledge of health plan data and insurance operations
