Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Life insurance statutory/PBR valuation role focused on VM-20 reserves for individual life products. You will perform quarterly valuations, develop and enhance Prophet models, and collaborate with pricing, IT, and finance teams. The role is hybrid or remote within the US and requires an ASA with 3â5 years of life valuation experience and Prophet hands-on modeling experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Perform quarterly statutory and PBR valuation for life insurance products under VM-20 frameworks
Develop and enhance valuation processes and analytical tools in Prophet and SQL
Partner with pricing, IT, and finance on new product launches and valuation UAT
Draft VM-31 Actuarial Report content and maintain valuation documentation
Hybrid or remote within the US â located near an Ameritas office preferred

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Life insurance statutory/PBR valuation
VM-20 principle-based reserving
Prophet actuarial modeling
SQL and data analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

ASA designation required; FSA strongly preferred
3â5+ years life insurance valuation experience with VM-20 hands-on experience
1â3 years Prophet modeling experience required; PBR modeling preferred
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent
US work authorization required â no temporary work authorization
