Associate P&C actuarial role in Jacksonville, Florida, supporting Florida homeowners insurance. You’ll work across pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, regulatory filings, catastrophe analysis, and reinsurance while partnering with teams across the insurer. The role requires ACAS or near-completion, 5+ years of experience, and strong SQL, Excel, and programming skills.

Requirements

Must have

ACAS designation (near-completion considered)

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field
5+ years of actuarial or P&C insurance experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced SQL and Excel skills
Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Nice to have

Florida residential insurance experience
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, catastrophe modeling, or GIS tools
