Titled below the requirements. The Associate Actuary title sits below requirements that include senior-level scope, 5+ years of experience, FSA preference, project leadership, and an identified Senior Manager band.

Senior Life actuarial reporting role in the United States, with hub locations in Cedar Rapids, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Denver. You’ll lead IFRS 17 financial management reporting, support U.S. GAAP implementation, analyze results across life, health, and annuity products, and explain insights to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience

Strongly preferred

  • FSA or equivalent professional designation preferred
  • ASA or equivalent designation with 8+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of FSA
  • Strong knowledge of insurance financial reporting, valuation, and actuarial analysis
  • Experience with IFRS 17 and/or U.S. GAAP reporting preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, sound judgment, organizational effectiveness, and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate complex actuarial, financial, and analytical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
