Pricing partner to underwriting

Sits with underwriting on live reinsurance opportunities rather than being a pure modelling role, with business recommendations and portfolio trade-offs shaping the work.

Senior P&C reinsurance pricing role open across the United States with remote or hybrid work options. You’ll price complex new and renewal business, support portfolio strategy, develop rating tools, and advise underwriting and business leaders. The role seeks 6+ years of commercial insurance or reinsurance pricing experience and strongly prefers ACAS or near-ACAS candidates.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field

Strongly preferred

  • ACAS designation strongly preferred or near-completion of ACAS
  • 6+ years of commercial insurance or reinsurance pricing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate mathematical models into strategic advice

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, and/or R a plus
  • Experience with pricing tools at a large reinsurance company or broker
  • Knowledge of R, Python, SQL and data visualization software a plus
