AVP-level Actuarial IT Product Owner based in Iselin, NJ or New York, NY. Lead a cross-functional product team to deliver and evolve actuarial digital products, overseeing product lifecycle and agile adoption. Requires deep domain knowledge of actuarial pricing and reserving, strong stakeholder engagement, and team management experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Own product lifecycle for actuarial digital products from ideation to delivery
Manage and mentor a cross-functional product team and promote agile practices
Partner with business, IT, design, and infrastructure stakeholders
Onsite role — 5 days per week in Iselin, NJ or New York, NY
Typically requires ~9+ years’ experience and ~5+ years in leadership

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

actuarial pricing experience
actuarial reserving experience
insurance or reinsurance domain knowledge
product development / product ownership experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum ~9 years of related work experience
Minimum ~5 years of manager/leadership experience
Domain knowledge of insurance and/or reinsurance—actuarial pricing and reserving
Proven experience managing teams and stakeholder relationships
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (or equivalent product development experience)
