JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Drive profitability reviews, new submission analyses and pricing adequacy monitoring
Design, program, and maintain pricing and book-monitoring tools
Use Python, SQL and VBA for analytics and tool development
Based in New York (AVP level); ACAS or FCAS and 8+ years required

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

P&C actuarial pricing and profitability analysis
Pricing adequacy and portfolio monitoring
Experience with underwriting, reinsurance, claims and financial drivers
Building pricing tools and analytics in Python/SQL/VBA

KEY REQUIREMENTS

ACAS or FCAS (P&C actuarial qualifications) required
8+ years of relevant actuarial and quantitative experience
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and VBA
Proven leadership managing and developing actuarial staff
Experience with pricing, profitability analysis, and portfolio monitoring
