JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead a P&C pricing actuarial team supporting the Entertainment Business Unit
  • Provide premium recommendations for large new and renewal accounts
  • Conduct profitability reviews across Auto, GL, Property, Inland Marine, Workers' Comp
  • Design, program, and maintain pricing and monitoring tools using Python/SQL/VBA
  • Hartford, CT office; AVP level with presentation exposure to senior leaders

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • P&C pricing and portfolio profitability analysis
  • Large account pricing and renewal experience
  • Experience with Auto, General Liability, Property, or Workers Comp
  • Building pricing/monitoring tools and analytics

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years of relevant P&C actuarial experience
  • ACAS, FCAS, or similarly qualified professional required
  • Proven leadership managing and developing actuarial staff
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and VBA
  • Experience with large-account pricing and portfolio monitoring
