Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C actuarial pricing leader supporting the Entertainment Business Unit in Jersey City. You will lead a team to deliver pricing recommendations for Auto, GL, Property, Inland Marine, Workers Comp and Umbrella, build pricing tools, run profitability analyses, and present insights to business leaders.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead actuarial pricing for the Entertainment Business Unit (Auto, GL, Property, Inland Marine, WC, Umbrella)
Provide premium recommendations for large new and renewal accounts
Build and maintain pricing and monitoring tools using Python, SQL, VBA
Manage and develop a team of actuaries and present to senior leaders
Role based in Jersey City with location-based compensation bands

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

P&C pricing and portfolio profitability analysis across Auto, GL, Property, Inland Marine, Workers Comp, Umbrella
Large account pricing and renewal premium recommendations
Monitoring pricing adequacy, rate change and underwriting mix
Pricing tool development and maintenance using Python, SQL, VBA

KEY REQUIREMENTS

8+ years of relevant P&C actuarial experience
ACAS or FCAS (or similarly qualified) required
Strong programming skills: Python, SQL, VBA
Proven leadership managing actuarial teams
Experience with large account pricing and portfolio profitability
