Executive Life actuarial role in Montpelier, Vermont, leading enterprise asset-liability management strategy across life insurance and annuity businesses. Reporting to the Chief Actuary, you will connect assets, liabilities, product design, investments, and enterprise financial performance while advising senior leadership.
Requirements
Must have
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics, statistics or related quantitative discipline
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
19+ years of related work experience (or 16+ with advanced degree, or 23+ total equivalent)
Ability to pass a full background investigation

Progressively responsible actuarial experience within the life insurance industry
Deep expertise in life and annuity products, asset-liability management, actuarial modeling, and enterprise financial dynamics
Experience influencing executive-level decisions through analytical insight
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across actuarial, investments, finance, and other business partners
Nice to have
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Statutory, and Economic financial reporting and their implications for ALM
Experience supporting strategic reinsurance initiatives and enterprise financial planning
Expertise with actuarial modeling platforms including MG-ALFA or comparable systems
Experience with indexed life insurance and annuity products
