You will lead enterprise government actuarial activities, own pricing, bid filings, premium analytics, forecasting and financial performance for Medicare/SSP lines and manage a high-performing actuarial team.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and strategy for Medicare and State-Sponsored Programs (SSP)
- Own Enterprise Medicare bid filings and regulatory premium filings
- Manage and develop a high-performing actuarial team (people leader)
- Drive forecasting, risk adjustment support, and premium analytics
- Hybrid role based in New York; MS Office proficiency required
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Medicare Advantage pricing
- Medicare bid filing experience
- SSP premium analytics and filings
- Employer group medical pricing
- Risk adjustment forecasting and valuation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years actuarial experience with ASA, or 12+ years with FSA
- 10+ years health insurance actuarial experience, preferably Medicare
- Proven experience with Medicare bid filings and regulatory submissions
- Demonstrated people leadership and ability to manage large projects
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or similar
