JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and reserve-setting strategy for Medicare and State Sponsored products
- Develop and oversee premium rate filings with CMS and NY Department of Health
- Supervise and develop actuarial staff supporting Medicare and state programs
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Risk Adjustment to optimize performance
- Remote role; strong data querying and automation skills required (SQL/SAS)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Medicare pricing and rate filings
- State-sponsored (Medicaid) actuarial experience
- Health insurance reserving and pricing
- Risk adjustment program optimization
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA designation required
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years relevant professional experience (4+ in health insurance actuarial)
- Expert-level database and spreadsheet skills; data extraction and simulations
- Experience with SQL or SAS Enterprise Guide preferred
