JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Own Reserving & Loss Analytics for the Programs book (Auto, GL, Prop, WC)
  • Lead NAIC SAO, regulatory communications, external audits and SOX work
  • Build reserving models and advanced analytics; ensure data quality
  • Manage and develop actuarial teams; present to executive leadership
  • Location: Boston, MA (salary band provided); incentive eligible

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Property and casualty reserving
  • NAIC Statement of Actuarial Opinion processes
  • US GAAP and statutory reporting
  • SOX compliance and regulatory communication
  • Leadership of actuarial teams

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years in P&C actuarial roles
  • 5+ years of experience within a Reserving function
  • Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS)
  • Expert SQL and Excel skills; Power BI, Snowflake and Python preferred
  • Proven experience leading and developing actuarial teams
