HIGHLIGHTS

Director-level P&C reserving role owning Reserving & Loss Analytics for Arch’s Programs book. Responsible for reserves, loss analytics, stakeholder partnering with underwriting/pricing/claims, and leading a reserving team. Based in Jersey City, NJ with responsibility across Auto, GL, Property and Workers' Comp.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Own reserving and loss analytics for the Programs’ P&C book (Auto, GL, Prop, WC)
Partner with underwriting, pricing, claims and finance to identify trends and actions
Lead projects and develop reserving methodologies and analytic solutions
Use SQL, Excel, Power BI, Snowflake; Python knowledge preferred
Director/AVP level with team leadership and executive presentation duties

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

property and casualty reserving
reserving for Auto, GL, Property, Workers Comp
presenting reserving insights to executive management and board

KEY REQUIREMENTS

10+ years progressive P&C actuarial experience
5+ years of reserving experience
Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS)
Proven people leadership and experience presenting to executive management
Expert SQL and advanced Excel; Power BI/Snowflake/Python preferred
