JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead reserving consolidation review and technical provisions for group reporting
  • Support actuarial opinion, BMA regulatory filings and external actuarial reviews
  • Drive migration of Excel reporting to Power BI and act as data steward
  • Mentor junior actuarial staff and provide technical leadership
  • Hybrid role — White Plains, NY office 2 days/week

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • reserve consolidation and reserving analysis
  • US GAAP and/or BMA regulatory financial reporting
  • group actuarial reporting and actuarial opinion support
  • data management, data cataloguing and stewardship

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 12+ years of (re)insurance actuarial experience
  • Proven reserving and financial reporting experience (US GAAP and/or BMA)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL
  • FCAS preferred; will consider experienced career ACAS
  • Strong technical data oversight and process improvement experience
