JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Own reserving and loss analytics for AINA cessions to major reinsurers
  • Collaborate with underwriting, pricing, claims and finance on trends
  • Lead projects and develop reserving models and analytic solutions
  • Tech stack includes expert SQL, Excel; Power BI, Snowflake and Python preferred
  • Senior leadership role based in Chicago; incentive eligible

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Property and Casualty actuarial experience
  • 5+ years of reserving function experience
  • Reinsurance reserving experience
  • Experience presenting to executive management
  • Proven expertise leading actuarial teams

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years in progressively complex P&C actuarial roles
  • 5+ years of experience within a Reserving function
  • Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS)
  • Expert SQL and Excel skills; experience with Snowflake and Power BI preferred
  • Proven experience leading and developing actuarial teams
