HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C reserving leadership role (AVP) focused on reinsurance reserving and loss analytics. You will own reserving and loss analytics for AINA cessions across Auto, GL, Property and specialty lines, partner with underwriting, pricing and finance, and lead projects and a team in Chicago, IL.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Own reserving and loss analytics for AINA cessions across multiple P&C lines
  • Lead reserving projects and develop analytic solutions and models
  • Partner with underwriting, pricing, claims and finance on trends and actions
  • Director-level role requiring ACAS or FCAS and 10+ years in P&C actuarial
  • Based in Chicago; position is incentive eligible with listed base salary range

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Property and casualty actuarial experience
  • Reserving function experience
  • Leading and developing actuarial teams

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of progressively complex P&C actuarial experience
  • 5+ years of experience within a reserving function
  • Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS)
  • Proven experience leading and developing actuarial teams
  • Expert SQL and Excel skills; Power BI, Snowflake and Python preferred
