Director-level P&C reserving role owning Reserving & Loss Analytics for Arch’s Programs book. Responsible for reserves, loss analytics, stakeholder partnering with underwriting/pricing/claims, and leading a reserving team. Based in Jersey City, NJ with responsibility across Auto, GL, Property and Workers' Comp.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own reserving and loss analytics for the Programs’ P&C book (Auto, GL, Prop, WC)
- Partner with underwriting, pricing, claims and finance to identify trends and actions
- Lead projects and develop reserving methodologies and analytic solutions
- Use SQL, Excel, Power BI, Snowflake; Python knowledge preferred
- Director/AVP level with team leadership and executive presentation duties

- presenting reserving insights to executive management and board
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years progressive P&C actuarial experience
- 5+ years of reserving experience
- Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS)
- Proven people leadership and experience presenting to executive management
- Expert SQL and advanced Excel; Power BI/Snowflake/Python preferred
