Executive P&C actuarial leadership role in Glen Allen, Virginia, covering commercial lines including Small Commercial, Middle Market, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, and Umbrella. Reporting to the President, the Chief Actuarial Officer will lead pricing, reserving, capital, reinsurance, portfolio intelligence, and data-enabled decision systems while partnering with the executive team.

Bachelor's degree in relevant quantitative field or equivalent
Significant progressive P&C actuarial experience including pricing and reserving leadership
Demonstrated experience leading teams and partnering across functions
Ability to communicate complex analysis to executive audiences
Working knowledge of actuarial standards, regulation, filings, reporting, model governance
Nice to have
MAAA membership
Experience with commercial package, Auto, WC, Umbrella, Small/Middle Market portfolios
Experience with reinsurance, cat modeling, capital analysis, portfolio optimization, emerging risks
Fluency with SQL, Python/R, visualization tools, cloud data platforms, AI workflows
Experience modernizing actuarial processes and implementing model governance
