Senior Health consulting actuary role in Milliman’s CMH Health Practice, focused on Medicaid managed care and pricing work. You’ll lead cross-functional client projects, present analyses to senior stakeholders, and help develop client relationships through networking and industry visibility. The ad prefers Milwaukee, Chicago, or Hartford offices, while remote candidates may be considered; salary is $88,800-$184,460.

Requirements

Must have

Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field
ASA designation with the Society of Actuaries
7+ years of health actuarial experience or similar at a consulting firm or health insurance company
3+ years of Medicaid managed care experience (in past three years)
Legal authorization to work in the US without immigration sponsorship

Strongly preferred

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and actuarial concepts
Experience managing projects
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Self-motivated, creative, and resourceful
Experience mentoring staff
Strong time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Client focused and results-oriented

Nice to have

Experience developing managed Medicaid capitation rates for state agencies
