Closer to a client-facing consulting role than an internal modelling role, because relationship ownership and market representation are explicit parts of the remit.

Senior Health and Group Benefits consulting actuary role in New Jersey with a hybrid office model. You will lead employer health benefits engagements, advise on plan design and strategy, manage complex client projects, and oversee vendor searches, especially for medical and pharmacy coverage. The role requires 10+ years of multiemployer health consulting experience and ASA and MAAA credentials.

Requirements

Must have

  • ASA and MAAA designations (minimum)

Strongly preferred

  • 10+ years of experience with multiemployer health actuarial and consulting services
  • Expertise in benefits design, delivery and strategy
  • Superior leadership and client engagement skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics

Nice to have

  • Health and life insurance license preferred
